This baked salmon had the perfect glaze for added flavor and was super easy!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 3 cloves minced garlic

  • 1 1/2 T coconut aminos (or soy sauce)

  • 1 T rice wine vinegar

  • 1 T EVOO

  • 4, 6oz. skin-on salmon filets

  • lime juice

  • salt

  • sesame seeds

Step by Step

  1. Preheat your oven to 400.

  2. Line a large baking dish with foil and spray with EVOO spray.

  3. While the oven is preheating, put a small pit over medium-high heat on your stove.

  4. Add honey, garlic, coconut aminos, and vinegar to the pot and bring to a boil.

  5. Once boiling, turn the heat to low and simmer, stirring often, for about 3 minutes. *I added 1 T water at this point because it was too thick.*

  6. Pat salmon filets dry and place skin side down on foil in baking dish.

  7. Brush filets with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.

  8. Pour the glaze over the salmon and bake for 6 minutes.

  9. After 6 minutes, baste with remaining glaze thats in the dish, and bake for another 8 minutes. *I used a meat thermometer to make sure my sal,on was at a temp of 145.

  10. Squeeze a bit of lime over the top after baking and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

  11. I served with white rice and air fried broccoli!
